Ahab
First of all my dog Ahab has shown dramatic improvements within a short time!
Therefor I cannot recommend and thank Sunshine Dogs Hawaii enough.
Mela is such an amazing coach, because her approach to not train the dog but the owner is unique and very effective. Because of her I learned so much about the foundation of cooperation and teamwork, rather than dominating and suppressing my dog like within the traditional obedience training or alpha dog approaches. In brief the coaching is eye-opening of how important our mindset and belief system is in general and especially within relationships.
As I adopted Ahab from the Hawaiian Humane Society, he had some major behavioral difficulties.
For instance Ahab could not stand other dogs, additionally he barked incessantly at home when left alone, and furthermore he was skittish around some humans, what really scared me. After training with Mela for almost a year now, Ahab’s and my life has changed so much to a better. Now Ahab is comfortable and social around other dogs. Also being left alone is no problem anymore, because he just sleeps and is relaxed. If I take him to my office in a coworking set up with lots of new people coming in and out, he is now a social butterfly and welcomes everybody friendly and gentle. Hawaii Dog Training
